Tips for Kids

Whilst onboard a Kabs4Kids vehicle, transportation rules must be followed. Parents, please remind your children of the importance of these rules. Kabs4Kids is transporting the most precious cargo of all - your child - and we want to ensure that every ride in a Kabs4Kids vehicle is safe.

  • Passengers must wear seat belts at all times.

  • Passengers must remain seated whilst the vehicle is moving. Passengers should not alight or depart from the vehicle until it has come to a complete stop and the driver has opened the door.

  • All passengers will obey the driver during pick up, transport, and delivery. 

  • Throwing objects out of a Kabs4Kids vehicle is prohibited.

  • Passengers must remain inside the windows whilst riding in a Kabs4Kids vehicle.

  • No passenger disturbance is allowed whilst riding in a Kabs4Kids vehicle. It is vital that the driver is able to concentrate whilst the vehicle is in motion.

  • Passengers will not destroy vehicle property or the property of other passengers.

  • All passengers must be courteous - inappropriate language/behaviour is not acceptable nor tolerated.

  • Kabs4Kids is not liable for any missing or damaged items left in a Kabs4Kids vehicle.

  • There will be a $100 cleaning fee charged should the vehicle be left in an untidy condition once the transfer is complete e.g. a child is sick or leaves rubbish behind.

Pick-Up Policy

Passengers must be ready at the scheduled pick-up time and location. The Kabs4Kids driver will not leave the pick-up location until your child is accounted for, however, late fees will apply.

If a Kabs4Kids vehicle has not arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled pick-up time, please call or text mobile +61 425 323 500, and we will advise you of the status. Please put these numbers into your child’s phone as well as your own.

The driver’s name and mobile number will be sent to you on the day of the transfer. You are able to contact the driver, however, as drivers are unable to answer their phones whilst driving, it is best to use the contact numbers above.

Drop-Off Policy

Drivers will not leave until your child is received by an adult and behind closed doors safely (unless prearranged). Should Kabs4Kids be unable to leave your child at the specified drop-off location due to unforeseen changes in your child's schedule, a $15.00 service charge will be applied should an alternative location be advised. Please have a back-up plan for these situations and discuss them with your child.

Additional Services

Check-in Assistance 

Check-in assistance is charged from $100 per child (in addition to the cost of the transfer). This fee covers parking costs and the time taken to check your child in. To ensure this process is completed smoothly, Kabs4Kids will provide you with a copy of the driver’s license to complete any necessary check-in paperwork.

Escort to Appointments/Tutors 

Escort assistance is charged at $60 per hour in addition to cost of the transfer. 

Transfer Cancellations

For the safety of the child, courtesy of the driver, and promptness of our schedules, it is extremely important that you advise us if your child will not require their transfer.

Waiting Service

If you require the driver to wait with your child at the drop-off location, this service will be charged for in addition to the cost of the transfer. ($30 per half hour)

Payment Policy

Transportation must be prepaid via credit card on our Kabs4Kids app, or via a pre-arranged monthly invoice. We accept Visa, Master Card and Amex. Invoices are emailed at the end of each month.

Additional Service Charges

A charge of $15.00 will be applied for:

  • returning personal belongings left in the vehicle

  • changing pick-up or drop off locations within 24 hours of the booked transfer

  • changing pick-up times within 24 hours of the booked transfer
